Viewing an Operator’s OST Form 6410 (or 6411) Filings List

Clicking the Form 6410 Filings (or Form 6411 Filings) menu item opens the current operator’s OST Form Filings screen allowing you to view the operator’s Form 6410 or 6411 Filings List and open a PDF form for a selected filing.

To View the Operator’s Form 6410/6411 Filings List:

  1. Click the Form 6410/6411 Filings menu item on the Operator Menu.

The system displays the OST Form Filings screen (for OST Form 6410 or 6411) for the current domestic or foreign air carrier/operator as appropriate.  Refer to the standard procedures in “Searching List Grids” for detailed list grid procedures.

A row of command buttons displayed above the grid allow you to start performing specific work functions for the selected list item using a subsequent eAIM screen.  The filing or effective status of the selected list item affects the availability of work functions and associated command buttons.  See the standard procedure “Performing a Command for a List Item” for details.

The OST Form 6410 Filings List (or 6411 Filings List) is displayed with grid information, including (from left to right):  Has Comment, Policy Status, Policy Status Date, Insurance Company Name, Policy Number, Blanket Policy, Coverage Type, Liability Type, Coverage Amount, Filing ID, Filing Status, Last Updated By (user name), and Last Updated On (date and time).

  1. If needed, download an operator’s Form 6410 or 6411 Filing document PDF using the View PDF button.

  2. When finished, use the Operator Menu to navigate to another screen for the current operator/filing  OR  Use the Home Page or menu to perform another eAIM task.

Viewing Insurance Policies

To View Insurance Policies:

  1. Using the grid, identify the existing policy number (along with its coverage type, Filing ID, policy status date, and last updated on) with policy status set to “Superseded”.  The list displays data within the following columns:  Policy Number, Coverage Type, Filing ID, Policy Status, Policy Status Date, and Last Updated On.  Refer to the standard procedures in “Searching List Grids” for detailed list grid procedures.

  1. Select the policy number associated with the 6410/6411 filing from the grid (Click to see a sample).

  2. Click the Expand Row ( ▶) button.

  3. Select the Filing ID with Filing Status of Processed from the grid and Click the Expand Row ( ▶) button.

A sub-grid lists the associated aircraft for the Filing ID with the following data.

  1. Use the grid to verify that the corresponding 6410 form has aircraft’s On OpSpec status is set (to either Yes or No).

Note: An aircraft listed with an On OpSpec status set to “Yes” indicates the aircraft has been removed from the corresponding 4507 form (Otherwise, the On OpSpec status is set to “No”).

Viewing an Operator’s OST Form 6410 (or 6411) PDF File

The screen’s View PDF button is displayed above the Filings List grid, allowing you to open a PDF document for an operator filing selected within a grid row.  Clicking the button download the PDF, allowing you to open and view the PDF document within a browser.

To View an Operator’s Form 6410 (or 6411) Filing PDF:

  1. Using the Filings List grid to locate and select a row for the filing whose form you want to view.

  1. Click the View PDF button.

The system downloads the form’s PDF document to your computer’s Downloads folder and displays a browser download message box, allowing you to open the PDF within a browser tab.

  1. Use the OST Form PDF file’s display to verify that the red stamp is applied correctly.
