Summary: Maintaining Insurance Industry and FAA Headquarters (HQ) Data

Overview  Users can maintain the insurance company and personnel data and the FAA headquarters data stored within the eAIM system by using the Manage Insurance Company and Manage Broker Company screens. These data values are used throughout the eAIM system as underlying data for system lists and lookup lists (such as those used for list box controls). In addition to allowing users to view, edit, and add data stored for the companies (and company personnel), the screens allow users to remove a company from the system or enable/disable activation of a company (causing the company to appear in or not appear in list box values within the eAIM system screens). The User Management | Manage Insurance Company and Manage Broker Company menu items/links open the Manage Insurance Company and Manage Broker Company screens.

Users can perform the following tasks:

1. Maintain the FAA Headquarter (HQ) Personnel data stored in the eAIM system:

   1. Add an FAA HQ Personnel entry to eAIM.

   2. Edit FAA HQ Personnel data stored in eAIM.

   3. Enable or Disable an FAA HQ Personnel entry within eAIM.

   4. Remove an FAA HQ Personnel entry from eAIM

2. Maintain the Insurance Company and Insurance Company Personnel Data stored in the eAIM system:

   1. Maintain Insurance Company data:

      1. Add an Insurance Company to eAIM.

      2. Edit Insurance Company data stored in eAIM.

      3. Enable or Disable an Insurance Broker Company within eAIM.

      4. Remove an Insurance Company from eAIM

   2. Maintain Insurance Company Personnel data:

      1. Add Insurance Company Personnel to an Insurance Company in eAIM.

      2. Edit Insurance Company Personnel data stored in eAIM.

      3. Remove Insurance Company Personnel from an Insurance Company in eAIM

3. Maintain the Insurance Broker Company and Insurance Broker Personnel data stored in the eAIM system:

   1. Maintain Insurance Broker Company data:

      1. Add an Insurance Broker Company to eAIM.

      2. Edit Insurance Broker Company data stored in eAIM.

      3. Enable or Disable an Insurance Broker Company within eAIM.

      4. Remove an Insurance Broker Company from eAIM.

   2. Maintain Insurance Broker Personnel data:

      1. Add Insurance Broker Personnel to an Insurance Broker Company in eAIM.

      2. Edit Insurance Broker Personnel data stored in eAIM.

      3. Remove Insurance Broker Personnel from an Insurance Broker Company in eAIM

3. Maintain the Company/Representative data stored in the eAIM system:

   1. Maintain Air Carrier/Operator Company/Representative data:

      1. View Representative List.

      2. Manage associations: Approve/Deny as Company Representative (Admin User only).

   2. Maintain Insurance Company/Representative data:

      1. View Representative List.

      2. Manage associations: Approve/Deny as Company Representative.

Note: The System Administrator and Help Desk users can also view, edit, and add to the list of FAA HQ Personnel entries, manange Air Carrier/Operator Company/Representative associations, and maintain insurance company/personnel and broker company/personnel data stored within the eAIM system.
